| The barren is a potential over taker. One person who experienced this was Hannah. She was branded barren. She even accepted the verdict of men concerning her state. Her mate and adversary believed conception and delivery of babies were her exclusive preserve in the Elkanah’s family until the day Samuel was born. 1 Samuel 2:1, 21 says that Hannah did not only nurse the greatest prophet of their time, but also had three other boys and two girls.
When people began to hear the cry and laughter of children from the same person they wrote off as barren, the embarrassment Hannah bore all through the years became their permanent possession. According to Ecclesiastes 9:11, the winner of a race is not necessarily the fastest. The fastest can trip. He can suffer muscle pull. He can mistakenly cross over to the track of another person and be disqualified. Anything else can happen to him and someone behind overtake and win the race. The fact that somebody else went ahead of you does not necessarily mean that the fellow will stay ahead. The truth is, if you walk diligently with the God of recovery, you can be assured that those who have gone ahead of you will soon join the list of those you have overtaken. Are you tagged “barren”? Reject that report. Has the specialist told you it will be impossible for you to carry your own baby? Drop that report. There is a better report for you. Hannah – a woman who successfully rejected the negative report about herself says: “They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble” (1 Samuel 2:5). \ In other words, Hannah says the tide is turning. Some fruitful ones may soon lose their potency to the barren. The late starters may soon take the lead. The barren may soon emerge winners in the race to have one’s quiver full of children. The good news is that the Lord will visit you this year. Every limitation will lose its hold over you. The tide is turning in your favour this season. Those who have been laughing at you will soon lose their strength, wisdom and abilities to you. You shall recover all. Draw closer to God and worship Him. Reject every negative report your flesh, family, friends, specialist or situation have given you. Believe and accept Heaven’s report. Your end shall be glorious!

Thank you very much for this sermon it has reminded me, the situation i was, it is real true what u have said, am a living testmony, many laught at me talked n did everything they could to mock me but who is God non than Him, am nursing every year pregnant now three babies halellujah praise be to God. Doctor said i will not have babies because i have multipule fibroids around the woumb,that will make me impossible to concieve, i droped his report there there in the hospital and i told him i will not go home with negative report i will go home with positive answer in Jesus name’ i went in prayers the third day when they examine me so that to take me for opperation to take out my womb no fibroids seen but they found that am three month pregnant. But it is because i take a step of faith and prayers otherways they could find fibrods if i could agree with him. devil is a lier. Am Blessed and Happy Amen. i don’t have fibroids am health.
