| In Genesis 18:1-5, Abraham had a divine visitation. Three strangers came near his tent but did not come in even though they were on an assignment to bless him. Until he made the first move, they stayed out. One lesson from this story is that nothing moves without a mover.
No car moves without an engine. Behind the engine of a car is a driver. If the driver refuses to start the engine, the car which has the potential of taking him to distant destinations by road, remains on the same spot. It is the duty of the driver to constantly supply fuel for the car to work. If the fuel tank is full today but spent by the next day, to move that car, the driver must refuel. This is a lesson in prosperity. The fact that you gave an offering yesterday should not prevent you from giving another day. Yesterday’s offering only succeeded in moving you forward for that day. Today’s offering will further move you forward from where you were yesterday. Similarly, there is a mover behind the mover behind the mover. Behind the driver sits the one who employed him. Although the driver knows how to control the engine and physically drive the car to certain destinations, it is his employer who dictates where he should go. The third and greatest Mover of all is the Almighty God Himself. It is those who know how to move God that end up at the top, because even the driver’s employer can also be moved. Yes, the moods of this employer will determine the instruction he will pass on to his driver. He may suddenly decide not to travel again due to certain circumstances. And if this is the case, the driver has no business starting or moving the car for that period. If you know how to move God, you can get anything done on earth, hence Apostle Paul craved to know God (Phil 3:10). There are certain steps you must take in order to move God in your life or situation. As long as you refuse to take those steps, you may have to wait a long time – even for the rest of your life. You have to move Heaven for Heaven to move on your behalf. Through one sacrificial offering, Noah moved God concerning the earth and that put paid to further destruction of the world with water (Gen 8:20-22). The Bible contains several things you can do to move the Mover of all things. Doing a positive thing that breaks previous records or that has never been done is one way out. Are you ready to move God? |
lord help me to be praying to God in whatever situation am passing through, may you remain my Jehovah in my life .
