Memorise: “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people; for all the earth is mine’ (Exodus 19:5). Pastor Enoch Adeboye

| For you to access special blessings, you must satisfy certain requirements. In Judges 13:3-5, when an angel brought the good news that Mrs Manoah was chosen to bear Samson, he told her she could no longer eat certain foods. She was placed on a special diet. Do you want God to specially and mightily use you? You must be ready to carry the responsibilities that go with it. The anointing will cost you something. Are you ready to pay the price? “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people; for all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5). From this passage, God has clearly stated that for you to be a special breed, a peculiar person, you must be ready to obey whatever He says. Also, you must be prepared to keep any covenant existing between you and the Lord. It is not easy to meet these conditions but if you truly want to stand out from the crowd, you need determination to adhere. For me, I have made up my mind to obey God always; what about you? The angel who was sent to the Manoah family did not prohibit several other pregnant women in the land. But Samson’s mother was prohibited from drinking wine from that moment. This was because the others were ordinary people but Samson and his mother were special to God. Are you asking for the greatest anointing possible? God will give it to you but you must first pay the price. You can no longer live in compromise, secret sin or falling and rising. Anger must go. Lust and lies must be shown the way out. Why? Because the anointing functions best in pure vessels. “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified and meet for the master’s use and prepared unto every good work” (2 Timothy 2:21). Your container for the anointing is determined by your level of holiness. The holier you are, the broader your container for the anointing. Every little sin you permit in your life reduces the amount of anointing you can possibly have. If you continue to live in sin, there will be absolutely no room for the anointing. The choice is yours to make. The price is yours to pay.

The sacrifice you make and price you pay will determine the size of your container for the anointing you will receive. |
