Wives are commanded to submit to their husbands in all things (Eph 5:22-24).
Some wives find if difficult to submit to their husbands just because they are taller, richer, better placed, or more educated. Even if you were the president of a nation, God still expects that wife to submit to her husband in all things.
Submission is an act of faith. That means if you can submit to your husband in spite of contrary opinions and situations, it will be counted to you as righteousness. Similarly, the woman is expected to submit to her husband as if she was submitting to Christ (Eph. 5:22).
This means that it is not the man that the really submitting to, but the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. It also means the extent to which a wife can submit to her husband s the extent to which she can submit to Jesus Christ. A woman who cannot submit to her husband will not also submit to Jesus.
Show me a woman who is wholly submitted to her husband and I will show you a woman who is wholly following the Lord. Based on this be liars. There is a chain of obedience in every home.
Children should submit to their parents, the wife to her husband; and the husband to submit to Jesus even as Jesus submits to God the father. At any point this order is not followed, the obedience chain is broken.
“Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands in everything” (Eph 5:24).
The question is how is the church submissive to Christ? The church is the body while Christ is the Head. All decisions are taken dependent on the Lord. To what extent is your submission to your husband? The only extreme is where your husband tells you to do something that will displease God or break your fellowship with Him – that is sin.
As long as you are not asked to sin, the wife must totally comply with the decisions of her husband.
After making suggestions, you will pray for divine guidance for your husband so that he does not make wrong decisions. You cannot be one with the husband you fail to totally submit to.
Lord I beg for your intervention to restore my marriage,
Lord please touch my husband’s heart and soften it to you and me.
Lord please turn his heart back to me to give me the chance to work on being the wife
I should be. Please strengthen me and guide me to do your will.
You are the author of marriage and I trust in you Lord to put your arms around us
to build a union in your glory. Please Lord take the thoughts of separation away from
him. God in heaven, please heed all these prayers.
Please continue to pray for strength and guidance to weather this storm.
I beg God’s forgiveness for my sins and failings and to mold me to His will to be
the wife my husband needs and deserves.
Please can you pray that my husband will have a supernatural encounter with our Lord and saviour Jesus
Christ.That God will remove the scale from his eyes and heart,that all demonic spirits
be cast out from him in the mighty mane of JESUS thats holding his bound and captive.
My husband wants divorce from me and I’m living with my parents now for 15 months.
Also pray that God will reveal himself to his parents and siblings especially her mother whom are encouraging him to obtain the divorce.Pray that they will turn from their ways and see the wrong that they are doing.Math 19:6 for what GOD has joined together let no man separate. I believe that all things are possible with GOD.
Please LORD, also pour financial blessing over myself and my family. Amen
Powerful spirit flowing through this message prayer almost as if written by myself- also in parents home now for 15(agonizing at times) mo. as well–amazing affect this out pouring of your heart and inspired expression of your spirit had to my own spirit as i went through it most sorrowfully and deeply wretched and weeping. Now seem more at peace as i have not had for awhile and lost hope even for that what was stated in [your?] words. Thank you for posting and to God be the glory for our victory in this impossible, possible hope of restoration not only with and for our spouses but to the great crowd of witnesses in heaven and those below here- whose lives may also be inspired and saved now and in eternity by our endurance through the Holy Spirit who fills us with the life i am tempted to believe i only had with my mate. It was not a life but much death and i await a real life in a marriage in His time carved out this time by my God as He’d intended, i pray with you on this as well.
