Jacob: Many lies of Jacob

Genesis 27 vs. 1-end
- Verse 18, Jacob told Isaac, ‘Here I am’, though Isaac never sent for him.
- Verse 18, Jacob lied to Isaac that he was ‘Esau, thy firstborn’.
- Verse 19, Jacob told the third lie to Isaac, ‘I have done according as thou badest me’, though Isaac never sent him on an errand.
- Verse 19, Jacob told lie No 4: he asked Isaac to eat of ‘my venison’, whereas the venison was really prepared by Rebecca, his mother.
- Verse 20, Jacob told lie No 5: Lying against man, he started against God, saying ‘ The Lord thy God brought it to me’, whereas his mother prepared the meal.
- Verse19, Lie No 6: Jacob told his father to eat ‘venison’ supposedly brought from the field (see verse 3). Whereas what Jacob brought before his father was meat prepared from two kid goats taken from the house.
- Verse 23, Lie No 7: Jacob deceived his father by offering him goat meat instead of wild animal meat; he topped it by wearing the skin of the goat he had killed. This is absolute mockery of his father whose eyes are dim (See verse 1)
- Verse 24, Lie No 9: He lied again that he was Esau when Isaac pointedly asked, ‘Art thou my very son Esau?’
- Verse 25, Lie N0 10. For the second time, Jacob deceitfully presented goat as venison (wild animal’s meat) to his father.
