The evils of polygamy

Read 2 Chronicles 11

If you want to live in peace and die in peace, try to avoid polygamy.
Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, followed the pattern of his father.
The Bible recorded that he had 18 wives and 60 concubines who gave him 28 sons and sixty daughters.
The Bible described Rehoboam as a man who desired many wives.
As we see in the latter chapter before his death, he forsook the law of God, which could have been caused by some of his idolatrous wives.
