The Character of God: God is interested in our names
Genesis 17 vs 19
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
- God is interested in the name you bear.
- God gives people names.
- God gave Abraham’s son a name even before he was born.
- This means you should not joke with your name, the names you give your children, or anything around you.
- It also means heaven is interested in the names you bear.
- So, before you do a naming ceremony, seek the face of God because God is interested in names.
