You need Divine Helpers
1 Chronicles 12 vs. 8 – And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
- David was a man of war known to achieve victories in battles.
- But the secret of David’s victories was the mighty men who helped him in his battles.
- The Bible describe them in 1 Chronicles 12:1 as his mighty helpers.
- These helpers are 30 men in numbers with distinctive qualities.

- They were always fully armed with bows.
- They were skilful in hurling stones.
- They were both righ and left-handed. They could use both hands to fight.
- They were skilful in shooting arrows, and they could use both hands to do that.
- The bible described them in 1 Chronicles 12:8 as mighty men, and very fit.
- They could use both shields and a buckler to fight.
- They are fearsome, and the Bible says they have the face of a lion.
- They are swift in achieving results.
- The lesson here is that in any activity of life, use the most skilful people in life to achieve the desired result.
