Read Joshua 17

1. One of the instructions God gave the Israelite was to completely drive out all the inhabitants of the promised land.
2. God know that if this was not done, those inhabitants left behind would become a snare unto the Israelite in future.
3. When the land of promise was apportioned, the children of Manasseh did not drive out all the Ammonite in the land – vs.12
4. Interestingly, this is the genesis of the acrimony between the Israelites and the Palestinians, even up to today.
5. All the nations that the Israelites failed to drive out in the land of Canaan became their modern-day enemies.
6. When God give you an instruction, let your obedience be total.
