THE CHARACTER OF GOD: God hates those who hate Him

Exodus 20 vs 5

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

1. God relates to you the way you relate to Him
2. If you love Him, He will love you.
3. If you serve Him, He will serve you.
4. If you hate Him, He will not only hate you, but He will extend the hatred to your great-grandchildren.
5. The number one definition of hatred of God is Idolatry.
6. So, you need to be careful of the sins you commit because they may affect your great-grandchildren.

• Blood of Jesus, redeem me from the sins of my ancestors.
