1 Kings 14

1. Rehoboam was the son of Solomon, who ruled Judah after the kingdom was divided by Jeroboam.
2. He did evil in God’s sight – vs.22^, And Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.
3. They provoked the jealousy of God through idolatrous sin.
4. He built evil altars, groves, images – vs 23 For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.
5. Idols were multiplied in the land – vs. 23
6. Judah became populated with sodomites (male sex sinners) – vs 24. And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lordcast out before the children of Israel.
