Anger of God
Read 2 Samuel 24

- God can be angry. Sin can provoke the anger of God, and when God becomes angry, He uses different elements to fight and punish.
- David sinned by counting the people of Judah and Israel. Which shows he was not trusting God, who can save by a few, but rather David trusted in numbers.
- God sent a plague and pestilence against Israel and Judah, which killed 70,000 men.
- The lesson here is that pestilence and disease, at times, can be an occurrence of God’s punishment against a nation.
- Another lesson is that people should pray for themselves, as the mistake of David caused the death of 70,000 people.
- We saw it was an Angel that God sent to destroy the people. We should pray for God’s mercy from the destroying Angel of God.
