| BREAKING THE STATUS QUO |

Memorise: “And he, casting away his garment, rose and came to Jesus” (Mark 10:50). Read: John 11:38-44 |
“And he, casting away his garment, rose and came to Jesus” (Mark 10:50). After Jesus stood still for Bartimaeus and sent for him, he still had to deal with one last obstacle on his way- his garment. After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, he remained limited within the same vicinity. He could grunt and shake but not freely walk or run until his grave clothes were forcefully removed (John 11:38- 44). The hinderance that is standing between you and your faith could be as close and warm as your clothes. Until you discard that garment of poverty mentality you have taken refuge in, your victory over poverty may be incomplete. Until the grave clothes of shameful secret habits are torn out of your life-style, your victory may be temporary. Forcefully do away with every hinderance under your control like Bartimaeus and ask God to send help to loose you like Lazarus where your strength is inadequate.  The faith that heaven honours is an unstoppable one. Once the engine of faith is ignited, nothing can stop it until it accomplishes its purpose. May your faith be unstoppable. Another ingredient vital to effectiveness of faith is its ability to create. It paves a way for itself. It burrows through every hinderance or barrier. The faith that moves mountains is the faith that God honours any day. Any mountain before such a faith will receive a blast from the dynamite contained in the faith. That mountain blocking your way to progress, prosperity, power, promotion and joy will move by the dynamic power of your faith in Jesus’ name. The faith that heaven honours is the one that is not vanity bound. Some people are expressing their faith in vain but yours shall produce results in Jesus name. Bartimaeus left Jesus a ‘Seeing’ man. Although nothing else and no one else changed. Bartimaeus did. Whether others change or not, this year your story shall change for better. You shall change. You shall break the status quo of the curses of the law and enter and maintain a new status quo – that of the Abrahamic covenant blessings. It is your portion. Ask for a change of status quo today. |
