1. Know the word. You need to feed on the word of God as you feed on food and drinks – Matthew 4 vs. 4 – But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
2. Act with wisdom. Don’t act foolishly. Your decisions and lifestyles will determine your fate. Even Jesus was taken to safety when Herod wanted to kill him. Matthew 2 vs. 14-15; And Jesus departed from Nazareth in Galilee to Capernaum when He learnt of the arrest of John the Baptist – Matthew 4 vs. 13 – And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
3. Christians should avoid idolatry, such as making covenant with Satan in return for status, wealth and positions – Matthew 4 vs. 10 – Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
