- One new revelation the Holy Spirit is showing us today about this story is that we should not be in a hurry to speak, write, respond, act, or decide. No matter the crisis or provocation.
- Sometimes it is good to reflect on the issue and ask the Holy Spirit for direction so our response can be wisdom.
- Jesus Christ must have faced a lot of pressure from the multitude that wanted to stone the woman caught in the act of adultery.
- The woman’s life was at stake.
- Jesus Christ’s answer would have been obvious, which is allowing the law of Moses to take its cause, but Jesus Christ did not let himself be rushed.
- He took time to reflect on the situation and the Holy Spirit gave him an answer which silences the woman’s enemies.
- As you hold your peace even in the face of provocation, Holy Spirit shall give you an answer that will silence your adversaries in Jesus’ name.
