| A representative of Satan can attempt to place a curse on you whether you deserve it or not. This is because Satan has no good desire towards people, particularly children of God. If you are a committed and prayerful believer, no curse can affect you. When witches and wizards pronounce a curse on you, it will rather turn into a blessing. When David went to fight Goliath, the latter was embarrassed that his opponents pitched him against someone who was small, inexperienced and unarmoured. 1 Samuel 17:43 says, “And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.” Goliath cursed David but his curse reversed to himself. If an unbeliever curses a true child of God, it will have no effect. Hence Numbers 23:23 says, “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, what hath God wrought!” If you have become a spiritual Jew through faith in Christ Jesus, you have automatically been immuned to curses. Has anyone placed a curse on you? It shall return to sender in the name of Jesus. For this immunity to be sustained, you have to keep living a sin-free life; obey the Lord, serve Him and be prayerful. Always cover yourself in the blood of Jesus. The elder brother of a particular Christian brother used a local juju “ashe” to place a curse on him but it boomeranged. He became a mental case who had to be taken from one place to the other for prayers. Until his failed attack, he confessed that he had successfully used the same satanic instrument to plunge some people into misery and orchestrate the deaths of others. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. As long as you remain in Christ and Christ abides in you, no curse by Satan or anybody will affect you. This is why in Matthew 5:10-12, the Lord Jesus says you should rejoice when people use their tongues against you. You have received spiritual immunisation against curses through the power of the blood of Jesus. From today, when people curse you, go ahead and bless them. If you curse them in return, it may take sometime but it will be fulfilled. Go ahead and thank God for your immunization. |
