Flee Idolatry
Read Joshua 22
- The children of Reuben, Gad, and the half trine of Manasseh said God forbid they pit their hands into idolatry – vs 29. God forbid that we should rebel against the Lord, and turn this day from following the Lord, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the Lord our God that is before his tabernacle.
- They confessed they have not forgotten the miracles God did for them as such, Idolatry is a ‘No go area’.
- Every child of God should make a similar confession – ‘God forbid I indulge in Idolatry’
