Two things we learn from Joshua 18

Read Joshua 18

1. The whole land of Canaan was subdued before the Israelites.
2. In Genesis 1 vs. 28, God commended his children to subdue the whole world. This came to pass for the Israelites in Joshua 18.
3. God gave them power to subdue and possess the land of promise.
4. The second thing we learnt is that it is not enough to subdue your adversaries, but you must also possess your possessions.
5. We learnt in verse 13 that the Israelites subdued the land, but they were slack (lazy, slow, or wasting time) to possess the land.
6. When God give you a blessing, do not be slow or waste time to possess it.
