Psalm 44 verse 23

Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.

1. It will seem strange to say that God sleeps.
2. But David realised that as long as God does not answer his prayer, God is still sleeping over his prayer.
3. In this scripture, David questioned God and asked him ‘’why are you sleeping’’?
4. You need to ask God that same question if there are other prayers he has not answered.
5. David even went further and asked God to wake from his sleep because he knows that when God arises, all His enemies will be scattered.
6. If it seems that God is sleeping over your request, you need to wake him up to answer your prayers instantly.
