The Lord is my shepherd
Psalm 23
- The Lord is my shepherd is a powerful confession.
- The Lord is my shepherd is a covenant with your creator.
- The Lord is my shepherd is a testimony.
- Anytime you say the Lord is my shepherd, you are saying several things:
- I don’t have a life of my own.
- I will follow Jesus to anywhere he asked me to go.
- I will follow Jesus sheepishly.
- I will do whatever my shepherd asked me to do.
- Jesus will not lead me astray.
- My shepherd will feed me, even when I do not have any means of feeding.
- My shepherd will not allow me to be stranded. He will provide a shelter for me
- My shepherd will lead me to where I would get opportunities.
- My shepherd will protect me and fight my battles against predators, assassins, kidnappers, and thieves.
- My shepherd will rebuke me when I am going astray.
- My shepherd will guide me on my ways.
- Everyone has an option to make the Lord his shepherd and enjoy all these benefits.
