| As bad as problems could be, they could be very instrumental to our conversion. Many Christians would not have remembered God but for the problems they had. One thing that can be done for your loved ones who are stubbornly refusing to accept the Gospel message, is to ask God to allow them to have the type of problem that only He can solve, and in the process use that as the avenue for drawing them to Himself. A brother preached Christ to his neighbours for years. They kept giving one excuse or another, until one day, he resolved to pray them into problems. A few months later, he observed that the wife of his neighbour was pregnant. That was a thing of joy. But he also observed that she and the entire family were very sad. So he went to ask what the problem was. The pregnant woman, who was his prime target for salvation, told him that a curse was operating in their family. Those who got pregnant died at childbirth. They had recorded three of such deaths within the family. She said a relation of hers just went to consult the oracle for something else and returned to tell her she was next on line. The opportunity he was looking for had come. The brother immediately swung into action. They were of strong Muslim background. They all seemed helpless and hopeless as they counted day after day towards D- day. He then preached Christ to her and told her she would not die if she receives Jesus into her heart. She immediately surrendered to Jesus. She was invited to church and she started attending with the approval of her Muslim husband and her mother-in-law. In one of such services, a word came concerning someone after whom the spirit of death was sent. Prayers were offered. Prayers continued. On the day of delivery, the fear on the mind of her husband grew so intense that he fainted and was put on a hospital bed near the wife. The devil tried his worse but he failed. She delivered a beautiful baby girl. The presence of God was strong in that ward. She went into a coma and brought messages from the Lord to the doctors around. Everyone knew there was something unique about that delivery.
Once again, God had proved Himself Lord over all situations. There are some people who can only be saved through such problem prayers. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you on how to pray them forcefully into the Kingdom. |
