Read Numbers 36

1. The book of Numbers is a book of laws.
2. The laws of God were given to the Israelites.
3. The book ended by stating that Numbers is a book of commandments for the children of Israel.
4. The prosperity of the Israelites in their obedience to those commandments.
5. As long as they obeyed the commandments, they prospered; on the contrary, disobedience was accompanied by failures and defeats at the hands of their enemies.
6. Christians are now the spiritual Israel. As long as any Christian obeys the commandments of God, they will prosper. Disobedience will be accompanied by defeats and affliction in the hands of the enemy.
