Save me from my sins, Lord Jesus

Only Jesus can save you from sin

Romans 10 vs 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1. We can only overcome sin by confession in the name of Jesus Christ, by believing He is a Saviour, and by calling on him to save us.
2. So, what happens after that is that God will give you the grace to overcome every temptation of sin.
3. This implies that by your human strength, you cannot overcome sin.
4. You need the grace and spirit of God, which comes by accepting Jesus Christ to overcome sin.
5. The truth is that unless you have the spirit of God, the pleasures of sin will still be attractive to you.
