QUALITIES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: You can pray in the spirit

Ephesians 6 vs 18

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

1. When we pray in the language we understand, we pray in the natural.
2. But when we pray in a language we do not understand, we are praying in the spirit.
3. Before you can pray in the spirit, you need to have the gift of speaking in tongues.
4. And when you pray in the spirit, it is the spirit that is praying on your behalf which ensures you are praying the right prayer for that moment.
5. And it is only when you pray in the spirit that you can pray always because if you pray out of understanding, you might soon run out of prayer points.
