THE CHARACTER OF GOD: God can be angry
2 Samuel 24 vs 1
Again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.
- The Bible says the anger of God rose against Israel, and God moved them to commit a mistake by doing a census of the people.
- We see in verses 15 and 16 of that chapter that the people of Israel were destroyed with pestilence as a result of the anger of God.
- When God is angry with a person, this causes the person to make mistakes.
- The anger of God leads to destruction.
- So, it is better to avoid things that will cause God’s anger.

Amen. 2nd Thessalonians 1:5-12 ~
“This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.
