THE CHARACTER OF GOD: Offering triggers the blessings of God

Exodus 20 vs 24

An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

1. At times, God does not release His blessings until you give an offering.
2. God responds to offerings.
3. God appreciates offerings.
4. If you honour God with an offering, He will honour you with a blessing.
5. In this verse, God told the Israelites that they should present an offering to Him, after which He will release His blessings.
6. If you, therefore, want to receive a blessing from God, give Him an offering.

Prayer

• I will not be stingy to my creator in Jesus’ name.
