Luke 9 vs 32

But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

1. Jesus Christ took Peter, John, and James to a mountain to pray.
2. The Bible says when Jesus started to pray, there was transfiguration, heaven opened, and the glory of God descended.
3. Unfortunately, the three disciples that were with him started sleeping.
4. They were not only sleeping, but they were snoring because the Bible says they were heavy with sleep.
5. They woke in confusion because sleep was not cleared from their eyes. Peter was talking about building a physical tabernacle.
6. Peter, John, and James were sleeping when heaven came down.
7. Like Peter, John, and James, many Christians still sleep on their spiritual duty.
8. Instead of praying for a breakthrough, most Christians sleep at the call of prayer.
9. May the Spirit of God wake you from your spiritual slumber.
