The Gospel must be based on the word of God

The Gospel must be based on the word of God.

Luke 7 vs 7

Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

1. A true Christian ministry’s message must be based on the word of God.
2. Every act, whether deliverance, healing, drama, gospel music, preaching or teaching, must be based upon the word of God.
3. This means you must quote a Bible verse to support your actions.
4. I just finished my Doctorate, and one principle of academic writing is that your position must be grounded in theory.
5. The same applies to the Gospel. Anything you do in the name of Jesus must be based on the word backing what you are doing.
6. In Luke 7:7, when the centurion needed healing for his servant, he said, “Say the word, and my servant will be healed”.
7. So, any supposed minister of God preaching the Gospel without quoting the word of God is a fake minister, no matter how popular he is.
