Mark 6 vs 22
And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
- It is stated that Herdiah, Herod’s daughter, dances before Herod when he organises a party.
- Because of how she danced, the Bible says Herod was pleased with and gave her a blank cheque to request anything, even up to half of his kingdom.
- I assume that Herod was a multi-millionaire, and he was willing to give more than half of his kingdom, wealth and riches to his daughter just because of the way she danced.
- Herod did not just make a promise but backed it up with an oath.
- One lesson from this story is that if a man can be pleased because someone danced well in his party, how much more God.
- If a king can vow to give a dancer half of his king because of how she dances.
- We have not received outstanding blessings because we cannot dance before God. Men prefer to dance to worldly music and to dance in the church or the presence of God.
- From today, receive the anointing of dancing in Jesus’ name.
- God is looking for a dancer, and God will be pleased if you dance well before him, and he will give you a blank cheque.
- Dance to the Lord and receive your miracle in Jesus’ name. Amen.
