Bible study on Mark: Can demons be destroyed?

Mark 1 vs 24

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

1. One of the arguments by the Theologians is that Demons being spirit beings, cannot be destroyed.
2. In this verse, the Bible states that an unclean spirit asked Jesus Christ if he had come to destroy them.
3. 1st John 3:8 also says the son of God came to destroy the Devil’s works, including demons.
4. Instead of mocking prayers or churches that command demons to die, it would be good for you to pray.
