Why Christians pray in Jesus’ name

Matthew 28 vs 18

 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

1. Jesus is the saviour. No other name can save from sins except the name of Jesus.
2. Jesus is the commander-in-chief of heaven and earth.
3. He said in Matthew 28 vs 18, “All power in heaven and earth has been giving unto me”.
4. The person that has all power in the school is the principal. The person that has all power in the company is the Director. The person that has all power in the country is the President.
5. It, therefore, makes sense to pray in the name of the one who has power over the heaven and the earth.
