Deliverance for breakthroughs

Matthew 21 vs 1-3
And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
- Every divine deliverance results in a promotion.
- Every deliverance of God results in a breakthrough.
- In the Bible, we were told a colt tied down in the village. A village setting limits the potential of either humans or animals. In most cases, the village has no basic infrastructure.
- But when Jesus Christ delivered the colt, he brought him from the village into Jerusalem.
- Jerusalem was a capital city where there was a better life.
- The colt’s life was suddenly transformed from village life to a better life in Jerusalem, from hunger from being tied to one place to the fame of being ridden by the king of kings.
- I am persuaded that when Jesus Christ rode the colt triumphantly into Jerusalem, everybody and even the fellow colt will ask who this lucky colt has been ridden.
- A new president was elected in Nigeria. The first day he resumed the office, they bought him an elegant, bulletproof, sleek, luxurious saloon car. Watching television, I focused more on the car than the president. The presidential car is like the colt.
- The glory of the colt was transformed from the glory of a village to the glory of Jerusalem.
- In the same way, many of us are still overshadowed by the village glory, whereas we should be enjoying the glory of Jerusalem.
- I pray for you today. The God that visited the colt and transformed its glory from village to city will transform your glory in Jesus’ name.
