Why a rich man may not make heaven?

Matthew 19 vs. 23

 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

1. A rich man may put his trust in the riches to solve all his problems instead of trusting God.
2. Money may become his god. They devote their time, energy, and power to make money rather than serving God.
3. They may become godless, as money can solve all their problems.
4. A rich man may become too busy to manage his riches that he has no time for God – to read the bible, pray, attend church, etc.
5. Rich men might have committed sins (bribery and corruption, murder, etc.) and evil to possess their riches or to sustain their riches.
6. A rich man who does not have compassion for the poor and does not share spend his riches on the poor is committing a sin.
7. It is almost impossible to get rich in this world without committing a sin or making a covenant with the devil along the way.

Prayer

God of heaven give me riches that will not kill me physically or spiritually in Jesus’ name.
