Psalm 12 vs 5
For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
- David cried to God to arise because the oppression of the poor was too much.
- David called on God to arise because the cry of the needy was much.
- David called on God to arise and save the needy from the hands of the wicked.
- David called upon God to arise because the wicked are walking freely and in arrogance. The wicked are promoted, and the righteous are oppressed in the land.
- God answered from heaven and said, ‘I will arise’.
- May God arise for your marriage, sound health, and deliverance in Jesus’ name. Amen.
