Psalm 31 vs 16

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.

1. David prayed a strange prayer in Psalm 31 vs 16 that the face of God should shine on him.
2. David knew God has a shining face and the shining face was not caused by make-up.
3. He knew the shining face of God was caused by His glory.
4. The shining face of God carries favour, mercy, goodness, and grace.
5. Perhaps, the most important prayer you should pray every day is that the face of God should shine on you.
6. When the face of God shines on you, you are settled for the day in Jesus’ name.
