Genesis 21 verse 1
For Sarah conceived and bare Abraham a son in his old age at the set time of which God has spoken to him
- There are some prayers that remain unanswered because God has refused to answer them.
- Sarai, the wife of Abraham was barren, yet Abraham was a perfect man before God.
- Sarai, the wife of Abraham was barren, yet the same Abraham prayed for Abimelech wives and maidservants who were barren, and they conceived and bore children; but the prayer of Abraham for his wife remained unanswered.
- However, Sarai eventually conceived and bore a child.
- God visited Sarah when she had lost all hopes of pregnancy
- God visited Sarah after the world has written her off as a barren woman
- God visited Sarah almost 50 years after her menopause ceased
- God cannot be late, God cannot be delayed, God cannot be timed, God cannot be limited
- God does intervene in situations to provide a supernatural solution to a long-standing problem.
