Daniel 2 verse 16

¹⁶ Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.

1. King Nebuchadnezzar asked all the astrologers and magicians to tell him the dream he had and interpret it.
2. None of the astrologers and magicians was able to do this.
3. Daniel the Jew was the only person that could tell the king the dream and successfully interpret it.
4. Why was Daniel able to fulfil this assignment?

• First, he did not attempt to interpret the dream in hurry, he requested the king to give him time which he used to pray to God.

Lesson: When you face a challenge, do not be in a hurry. No matter the pressure, take time to prayerfully find the solution.

• Second, Daniel prayed to God and God showed him the secret dream.

Lesson: You need the Holy spirit to reveal dep and secret things to you.

• Third, all the astrologers and magicians could not interpret the dreams.

Lesson: There is no idol or power that know the mind of God
