Sermon on grace and favour: Lessons from Bible story of Esther

Esther 2 verse 17

¹⁷ And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

1. Esther was a migrant.
2. Esther was a slave.
3. Esther was a captive.
4. Esther was an orphan.
5. Esther was a common girl.
6. Esther was an adopted child.
7. Esther was a house girl.
8. Esther competed to be the queen with many maidens.
9. Esther was not only the virgin among the maidens that competed
10. Esther was not the only beautiful girl among the maidens that competed to be queen.
11. Yet, grace and favour gave her the crown.
12. You need divine grace and favour to win a crown supernaturally.
13. May the grace of Esther follow you in Jesus name.
