Bible study: Hearing God’s voice
Psalm 29 vs 3: The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
Psalm 55 vs 1-3 Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me
Revelation 3:20(KJV) – 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- A strange but tragic incident happened in Lagos, Nigeria recently, when a young man, a Medical Doctor by Profession, who was being chauffeured driven to a meeting, suddenly ordered his Driver to park the car on top of a bridge over the Lagos lagoon; the young man then alighted from his Jeep, and within a twinkle of an eye, jumped headlong into the Lagos lagoon from the top of the bridge. The reasons for this suicidal act are still being investigated, while his corpse is still being searched in the waters.

- I mediated on this incident last night, asking the Holy Spirit why the this happened and the Holy Spirit referred me to Psalm 29 vs 3: The voice of theLord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
- There is a voice of the Lord. May you hear the voice of the Lord today in Jesus name.
- The God of Israel speaks to people. May God speak to you today in Jesus name
- The Holy Spirit also referred me to another passage Psalm 55 vs 1-3Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
- There is a voice of the enemy. May you be deaf to the voice of the enemy in Jesus name.
- The enemy gives command to people. May you not hearken to evil command in Jesus name
- Beloved there is the voice of the Lord (Psalm 29 vs 3) and the voice of the enemy (Psalm 55 vs 3)
- The young medical doctor that jumped into the Lagos lagoon heard the voice of the enemy.
- I pray for you again that you shall be deaf to the voice of the enemy in Jesus name.
- Powers hiding in darkness to give you satanic instructions shall be silenced in Jesus name
- Make this confession: I shall hear the voice of the Lord
- Make this confession: I shall not hear the voice of the enemy in Jesus name, I shall not hear the voice of sickness, the voice of sin, the voice of sudden death, the voice of obituary in Jesus name
- Any power that is commanding you to kill yourself shall kill themselves in Jesus name
- Adam and Eve heard the voice of the enemy and fell into temptation and sin.
- Cain heard the voice of the enemy and killed his brother
- Joseph heard the Lord and fled from sin.
- Moses heard the voice of the Lord and delivered his people.
- Joseph heard the voice of the Lord and fled from sin.
- Gideon heard the voice of the Lord and delivered Israelites from medianites
- Samson heard the voice of Delilah, committed adultery, lost his destiny, and died with his enemies
- David heard the voice of adultery and impregnated another man’s wife, murdering the woman’s husband in the process.
- Samuel heard the voice of the Lord and judged Israel in righteousness
- Saul heard the voice of Pride and fell from the grace.
- Jonah heard the voice of disobedience and ran to Nineveh
- Even the Lord Jesus refused to hear the voice of Satan when Satan came to tempt him in the wilderness; and became the beloved son of God in whom He is well pleased
- I Pray for you today that you shall hear the voice of holiness and righteousness, the voice of heaven, the voice of breakthroughs, the voice of congratulations, the voice of rejoicing, the voice of peace, the voice promotions, salvation, and healing
- Your body soul and spirit shall hear the voice of the Lord
- The Lord shall cure your spiritual deafness in Jesus name.
- You shall not hear the voice of evil friends, the voice of sin, of immorality, of masturbation, you shall be deaf to witchcraft commands in Jesus name.
- Beloved as I round up this message, the Holy Spirit wants you to know that the voice of the Lord leads to salvation and life, and the voice of the enemy leads to destruction and hell. Which voice do you want to hear today?
- Finally, Jesus said in Revelation 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- Jesus Christ wants to speak to you today and the most important decision you can take in life is to open your heart to him so that you can hear his voice. Do you want to take that decision now?
- Say this confession: I (your name) will hear the voice of Jesus
- My wife, my husband and my children shall hear the voice of Jesus
- Say this simple prayer: Jesus speak to me now. Speak to my heart, Speak to my body, Speak to my marriage.
- Say this simple prayer: Jesus enter my heart now, enter my soul, enter my business, enter my life
- Say this simple prayer: I Babatope Babalobi (your name) shall hear and follow the voice of Jesus
- I shall follow the voice of Jesus, the voice of salvation, the voice of holiness, the voice of righteousness.

Hear the voice of the Lord !
The message of The 11 (“The narrow gate”)
“The eleven disciples went to Galilee”
“Where Jesus had told them to go”
They heard His voice and obeyed His will
Despite uncertainty down below
Jesus spoke to them at length
He wasn’t really a Tweeter
Only 3 of them wrote Scripture
Matthew John and Peter
“Feed my sheep” said Jesus, for though
“Heaven and earth will pass away”
I have the words of eternal life and
“My words will never pass away”
“Enter through the narrow gate”
The voice of Jesus through the eleven
Believe in Jesus “through their message”
And “eat from the tree of life” in heaven
Jesus commissioned the eleven
With “everything I have commanded you”
“Teaching THEM to obey” Jesus
And “THEM” means me and you !
“The command given by our Lord and Savior”
Is not a Pharisee speaking alone
It came rather “through your apostles”

If a Pharisee boasts proudly
Those men added nothing to my message
He doesn’t speak for Jesus
His words are nothing more than garbage
