1 Timothy 6 vs 6-11
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

What lessons can we learn from this scriptures?
- Success is knowing Christ. A successful man is the one that lives in holiness and is contended with what he has. (vs 6)
- Life without Christ is vain. All the wealth, status, positions, and money you are struggling to acquire, you will leave all behind the day you die. (vs7)
- Human needs are few. Once you have food to eat, clothes to wear, and a house to stay you should be happy and contended. (vs8)
- Love of money leads to sin. The desire to become rich leads people into sin (vs9).
- Love of money is a trap. Many fall into it as they struggle to possess it (vs9)
- Fools love money, Wiseman love Jesus (vs9).
- The love for money ends in bitterness of the soul, body and spirit (vs9)
- The love for money leads to destruction. (vs9)
- The love of money is the spirit of anti-Christ (vs9).
- All evils are caused by the love of money (vs10).
- Greed for money causes Christians to backslide. (vs10).
- The love for money ends in sorrows.
- Flee from greed, flee from the love for money.
- Run after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.
