Psalm 3 vs 3-4

But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
⁴I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.

God is my shield means you have a divine protector, as such you should not invest too much time, money, and resources attempting to protect yourself.
God is my shield means you should stop living in fear of harm, stopp getting afraid of evil occurring to you as the shield of the Lord will protect you.
The Lord is my shield means heavens have realized that you are not able to protect yourself, it means heaven has realized that human protection would fail, as such a divine provision has been made readily available for your protection.
God is my shield means when evil is happening around you, the shield of the Lord will prevent it from reaching you.
The Lord is shield means you have to live by faith even as you walk along the shadows of death and the valley of death; your faith will give you assurance that you are not alone, God is with you.
God is my shield, means when spirit wives or husbands want to molest you sexually at night or while sleeping,the shield of the Lord will cause them to bounce back.
The Lord is my shield means the pestilence that walks in darkness and the arrows that flies by day, will not harm you because you have a divine shield.
God is my shield means when evil virus like Ebola are plaguing people around you, the shield of God will give you spiritual immunization from contacting such evil incurable diseases.
God is your shield means if you are someone –in a car, bus, road, etc where an accident has happened, the shield of the Lord will prevent the impact from reaching you.
God is my shield means you should just relax, be at peace, be full of joy knowing well that God is always in control
