Bible and idolatry: What is Idolatry in the Bible?

Should a christian accept traditional and/or chieftaincy titles?How does the Bible define Idolatry?

1 John 1 vs. 6:If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth

1. You cannot serve God and gods of this age
2. You cannot belong to the body of Christ and secret group sat the same time
3. You cannot take Holy Communion and eat at the table of idols at the same time
4. You cannot take church titles and traditional /idolatry title at the same time.
5. The Bible calls all those who do these liars, who are walking in darkness.
