Bible Study: By His stripes, we are healed

Isaiah 53 vs. 4-5

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Eight things Jesus did for our healing:

1. He bore grieves.
2. He carried our sorrows.
3. He was stricken for our sake.
4. He was smitten.
5. He was afflicted for our sake.
6. He was wounded.
7. He was bruised.
8. He was chastised.
