Esther 3 vs. 2

And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.

1. When the laws of your country contradict the Bible, which do you choose to obey- secular laws or the Bible?
2. In this passage, Mordecai choose to disobey the King’s commandments because it contravened God’s laws that the Jews should not bow down for any person apart from God.
