Why did Jesus have to die on the Cross?

Leviticus 16:10

But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

1. In the old testament, a life goat was use to sacrifice for the remission of sins of Israelite
2. But the sacrifice has to be repeated every year.
3. Jesus came as a scape-goat not only to make a better sacrifice, because a man is better than a goat, but also to make a permanent sacrifice for sins.
4. So by dying, Jesus became a scape-goat to take all your sins permanently away.
