The faith of blind Bartimeaues

Mark 10 vs. 46 : And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side beggingOpportunities do not come every day.

The Bible says there is a season for every thing and a time for every activity under heaven. If you miss an opportunity, you may never regain it.

If he has sat on the corridor of a nearby house, it would have been more difficult for his voice to be heard or for Jesus to meet him.
