  1. I am a white caucasion maile, and am about to marry a black African Femaile. My brother having once been a Church Of God Preacher has condemed this marriage. I am attempting to set the records straight, can you help me? Lonnie

  2. Dear Lonnie,

    Haven’t you read Galatians 3 vs13:

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

If the basis of condemnation by your Brother-Preacher is racial, then he got it wrong and infact committed a sinful act, without attempting to judge.

    Galatians chapter 3 says further:

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise

Test the character of the woman whether it is christian not her colour, test the spirit of the woman whether it is of God, not her racial descent.

Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, the Snr Pastor of KICC, UK’s largest church recently launched a book on this subject titled: “What is wrong with BEING BLACK? – http://www.whatswrongwithbeingblack.com/

    God bless u

  4. Nothing is wrong with being black! However, once you understand the spiritual basis for Africa’s major problems, it becomes easier to design and implement efforts to relieve the same problems. There’s a Bible based book that takes a look at the history of black Africa through the word of God and then foretells a solution that will involve all of the tribes of Africa as self representing sovereign entities united in spirit and meeting regularly in prayer to solve our peculiar seeming insurmountable problems. This book written by the Foundation for Africa’s Restoration(visit F.A.R.M’s http://www.farmorganisation.org) explores the origin of the black African race historically and biblically. God promises to heal Africa of her oppression. For more information about the book ‘AFRICA’S HOUR OF DELIVERANCE,’ please do click on this URL: http://stores.lulu.com/farmorganisation

  5. Christ already redeemed us from the curse of the law as Babalobi rightly pointed above but we should not forget that for anything to be made right in us and about us, humanity must co-operate with Divinity to achieve a purpose, remember the story of Lazarus. Jesus said it is finished meaning He has finished with His work on earth and passed on the baton to us to go and preach… Let’s take our destiny in our hands and respond to a continent-wide call for intercession for our beloved continent.
Nothing is indeed wrong with being black! 6. Greetings from calvary, may God continue to enlarge your coast as you motivate men and women to be focused in life.

  7. I have not read Pastor Matthew’s book but when I watch documentaries such as the Baka tribe ( recently shown on BBC2) it makes me wonder why black peopleare continually enslaved, oppressed and marginalised. The truth and realisty is that you can see this in any race ; I work with homeless people and over 80% of the clients that I work with are white. I used to teach in an inner city school in Sheffield. Most of the pupils I worked with were black but the school was filled with white pupils who were underachieving, truanting and were resolved to a life just like their parents; on benefits. As a black race we have been through hardship to say the least and I often ask God why but I don’t believe we were cursed. I do believe that although Christ redeemed us from the curse we can still remain enslaved in the mind and I believe that for many this is the real problem. slavery of the mind.
