Genesis 26 vs. 12 – Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
- Isaac ‘sowed in the land’. It means he started a new business and it is written the Lord blessed him.
- Sowing does not only mean giving offerings to the work of God, but also starting a business ventures.
- At times, Christians over spiritualise principles of financial breakthrough.
- Giving offerings sacrificially for the work of God is biblical and can provoke divine blessings, but it is also vital for you to lay your hands on a business enterprise. If the only thing you do is to sow a seed to the kingdom without ‘sowing in the land’ you will soon come to poverty, and be frustrated for not being blessed.
- Some Churches have not helped matters; as they mainly emphasis on ‘sowing a seed’ to the ministry or Pastor in order to receive breakthrough.
- You need to ‘sow in the land’ and give the best of your seeds (profits) and first fruit to the church/ministry as offerings.
- The summary of this message is that Christianity is not pool staking or gambling. There is no substitute for hardwork. You need to engage in a profitable business which God can bless.
- If you are not engaged in any productive work, don’t think God will pour blessings on you just for sowing a seed to the kingdom’s work.
- Sow in the land and also sow seeds from your profits in the church!

There’s what it called financial prosperity, if you key to that you will prosper fast.for every see sowed there is always a blessing that come with. If u sow a corn been a crop u will reap in multiples so do that applies spiritually. Sowing is one of the natural way to get outboard of porverty.
