Genesis 20 vs. 18 – For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham’s wife.
- Barreness can be self inflicted. It can be caused by an unconfessed sin.
- God can close the womb as a punishment for sin. The interesting thing is that the sin may be committed by either the wife or husband.
- If you take your wife illegally, such as snatching someone else’s wife. God can close the womb of the snatched wife and other women in the house.
- Examine your ways and confess your sins in repentance.
Prayer
Spirit of God, reveal to me the genesis of my problems in Jesus name.
