Biblical counsel on travels

Genesis 12 vs. 1 – Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

1. Is it proper for Christians to abandon their fatherland and emigrate to more advanced countries for greener pastures?
2. It is the desire of most youth in developing countries to emigrate to the developed world.
3. There is nothing wrong morally or biblically in emigrating for greener pastures as long as you obey all legal rules.
4. In this passage, God specifically instructed Abraham to emigrate to a foreign land.
